We are not a moving company. We are an independent moving cost calculator and route directory, built so you can price a move before you talk to anyone. Here is how it works and who it is for.
Our Story
My Fast Movers exists because moving quotes are hard to sanity-check. Ask three carriers to price the same job and the answers can differ by forty percent, with no way for you to tell which one is reasonable.
So we built the thing we wanted: a moving cost calculator that gives you a defensible range before you speak to anyone, and a directory of routes, cities and states you can browse without handing over an email address.
Today that covers 50 states and DC, 213 cities and 27,854 priced routes. We do not own trucks, employ crews or take payment to rank one company above another — which is the only reason our numbers are worth anything.
Our Values
Four rules decide what goes on a page and what stays off it.
Sourced, not surveyed
Every carrier comes from the FMCSA register and links to its own federal record by USDOT number. Nothing is taken from ads or anonymous reviews.
No paid order
Nobody pays to be listed or ranked. Directory order comes from the register, by distance and reported fleet, never from a sales call.
One model
One published model prices every figure on the site, so a number in an article can never disagree with the calculator.
Dated and checkable
Each page prints the date of the data behind it and links the method, so you can check a figure instead of taking our word for it.
